Richard Mille 005 in Rose Gold
    Picture 1
    Picture 2

    Price: $26,950

Brand New in Original Box, Papers, Tags, Tool, etc.

THIS HAS TO BE THE MOST DESIRED BRAND AND WATCH OF 2005 AS THERE IS A WAITING LIST FOR THESE EVERY WHERE AT FULL RETAIL!

This watch enjoyed the most buzz during the fairs in Switzerland.
Richard Mille is taking time to a different level, designing watches like carmakers build automobiles for Formula One racing. Nothing is spared for performance, he says. The 005 is his base model with the classic Mille skeleton dial that looks like a NASA design. In fact, he uses many materials that were developed for America's space shuttle, ranging from titanium arms and flanges in the movement to ceramic ball bearings in the rotor. He says that the self-winding mechanism will adapt itself to your movements whether you are serving aces on the tennis court or writing out checks at your desk...nice touch.

    Pete,
Do you have any, like, cheaper watches? Something with batteries, maybe?
Mine died today, and I think its (but I don't know for sure) the BATTERIES that have gone bad.
I love your ads--keep 'em coming!
    Keith
BTW, are the reason your watch prices are so reasonable because your ad budget is nearly free?
    Thanks!

This isn't about me, it's about users harrassing a sponsor for doing what he paid Rob to be able to do. I'm sure everyone on the thread is a good guy, I just don't like the technique.

Signing off for now, y'all feel free to bash.......

How about in the $100-$200 range? I have to save for a 308. Not everyone here can afford a $30K-$100K watch.

Geez guys, he is a PAYING sponsor isnt he? He offers a product people want, gauging by the common watch threads we see.

If Rob would prefer him to keep posts in one threat, PM Rob and suggest it and if he agrees I'm sure he will say so.

Personally, I like watch threads - but I want pics!

    Out of my mind
Come on guys, you know we like watches even expensive ones. although some of us (read I) can't afford a 5 figure watch, it doesn't mean we can't check out what he's got. let him advertise what he's got, but also let him know what we need or interested in with respect to watches.

I'd like to see watches in the $500.00 on up range (ladies and mens)

go hijack another thread (not mine please)

I don't see how having one thread that he posts to daily harms the off topic section at all. He seems to have gotten the point about cluttering up the forum with multiple threads. So why not just let him have his thread and leave him alone? If you aren't interested in what he has to offer then just don't click on the thread. I don't get it.

For anyone considering one of those recent watches, the Oris' are damn nice. I bought one 18mos ago and it's been great. It think it's one of the best values out there.

Yeah, many don't know that most watches under 10k (read steel / no diamonds / etc...) use the same movements from a large movement firm in Switzerland, ETA.

So many of the same movements found in some of the higher end Swiss brands lower end pieces are the same movements found in the Oris for example.

I have an Omega and IWC with very similar ETAs as the Oris.
