Yeah, the store is huge and honestly I was out of it in 3-5 minutes. I was wearing a ~ $35k watch and they didn't notice or give me the time of day. Maybe because I in my mid 20s and my girlfriend is in her early 20s... or maybe they didn't even recognize the watch... I'm going to guess both
On Breitling Tourbillion.. that watch would cost about the same as a new Fcar no?? That has been my experience (researching) Tourbillions... Oh, and the UN Freak is cool but not for $50k. Lastly, Peter I sent you a PM about Panerai...
I really like the Freak but I would rather have a nice Omega and a 308 for that kind of money. Who knows, I'm not dead yet, maybe some day.
Deal, the day I buy an Enzo, I will buy a Freak from you. Don't go finding one just yet. I'm a little short right now.

Years ago in Forbes, I saw an ad for this limited-edition skeleton-looking watch that didn't seem to have any hands. I remember the advertisment saying something like only the owner really knew how to read it. Does anyone remember this watch and exactly what it was? I thought it was an IWC, Piaget, or something like that. RMX
Peter, While trying to make up my mind which Lange & Sohne to get, it seems that you used the same picture for the Grand Lange 1/ Black dial as for the Lange 1/ Black dial. Am I correct to assume that the Grand Lange Black has the same overlapping dials as the other Grand Langes? Thanks,
Wow good catch... I didn't even notice that. I need to change that on the site Should look like this: http://www.alange-soehne.com/en/watches/grand_lange_1_popup_detail.php?nr=4
http://theluxurybazaar.com/timepieces/webforms/watches/details/details.aspx?c=C6A32BB8-42B5-4A0D-A4EA-5C3335E66049 That look a little better
I'd say go with a larger case, 40mm + Maybe it's because I'm younger, but I'm really not a fan of 34-38mm watches. What's your price range for a watch? Are you sure you want a Lange? (which is a great watch.) The Grande Lange 1 is a favorite of mine, as is the Lange 1 Timezone. If you are considering other brands, maybe look at the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar II WG? Probably my next watch http://theluxurybazaar.com/timepieces/webforms/watches/details/details.aspx?c=66A63FCD-8790-4F9A-A32D-19000513C9B9
Yeah. I wrote the thing and keep it updated I don't handle the sales, shipping, etc... That's Roman and Arthur.
I agree with you and I am looking for the Grand version anyway. I like the Titanium with the light dial the best, but I'm unsure if that is worth the 10K difference to me. On the other side, the black dial has so many extra lines on it and just isn't as minimalist as the light dial (gold colored with the light dial is a distant third).
Great pics LuxuryBazaar For the guys saying their Rolex/Omega/Breitling were better than the AP 'they owned', I'd say LB hit the nail on the head. A BMW M3 is, on paper, "better" than a F355, but which would you rather have someone toss the keys to you for a day? The AP is in another league from the Rolex/Breitling, like comparing a Ferrari to a Caddy. Rolex are great watches, I have an oyster perpetual datejust that I've had for years that works great, and I have three Omegas that I love, but they are very much the high end of layman level watches, not the low end of specialist watches. My .02 anyway. There are also tons of fakes out there. I am not a Breitling pro by any means, but the pic provided definitely looks fake. The real Breitling tourbillons that I've seen pics of are highly decorated and adorned and the cuts in the metal and details in the case are impeccable. The pic looks much lower in quality and the chances of someone selling a B.T. at this time are highly unlikely. The guy who said to check with watchuseek is right on the money. But I wasn't asked either so what do I know?
Seems like enough I got three compliments on my "Rolex" yesterday... You know, Vacheron / Rolex, same thing >:0 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not bad, not bad - but I'm gonna go against the other guy who said you have an obsession with AP.... I don't think there is anything unhealthy about an obsession with AP - I know because I have one! So keep the AP pics comin' too From flash AP to bland AP, it's all good - just no diamonds (the Jay-Z one was subtle enough to be OK though)
