    I know this has been asked before but I am looking for a show quality detailer in Dallas. Someone that can give a show quality detail to a vintage car without ruining anything:) Please PM or post the info. Thanks in advance!

    I don't know how you define 'show quality'. For my needs, I've used Brian Hare over at Detail Werkz. Screwy name for a company, but I've been very happy with his work on my Rock Chip Speciale http://www.detailwerkz.com/intro.html

    Brian has done a great job for me. He oversees every operation and has a good crew. Still miss Chris Pounds who spent 5 hrs+ on the 355 one time. He's off doing websites and techie stuff. For the best $20 hand wash go just north on the 75 access road from Royal. Just past the Land Rover dealer turn right in to Prime Time Detail. Larry was at Hillcrest and Northwest Highway for years, and for $20 they really get it clean. Microfiber towels only too.

    Used Brian at Detailwerkz several times does a fantastic job and you can spec number of coats of Zaino etc. highly recommend him

    Josh Ottmann at Ottmann Detailing would probably be my go to guy in the area. I have a personal friend of Sal Zaino (owner of ZainoBro's polishes) and I he has told me Josh is the only guy he factory backs in the area, FWIW. He is definetly an expert artisan with a machine polisher.

    I know of his work because I have seen several Corvette showcars he detailed that competed at the Eckler's Corvette Show in Cape Cav. Florida. His work was stunning, which is probably why Sal Zaino recommends him.

    I use and highly recommend both Josh or Detail Werkz. They both use Zaino products and the results have always been perfect to my eyes. I don't know how much vintage experience either of them have, unless you consider 70 and 80's 3x8's vintage. :)

    Detail Werkz is priced higher and more planning to get on schedule. Josh REALLY loves his work and takes his time, very much the perfectionist.

    I used Brian once, he did a good enough job. I just can't get past that he charged me the same amount for my 2 seat Ferrari as he did my Dad for his BMW 7 series. I guess it doesn't take any more effort to do 2 more doors, 2 more windows, and a LOT more leather.
