Dallas hotels near TMS?

What's your definition of "near"? What's your drive limit? 5 min? 10 min? 30 min? I assume you want as close as possible, but not sure how far you are willing to drive.

Texas Motor Speedway is north of Fort Worth, not really near Dallas at all.

Are you going when there is a big event?

2 other close ones are the Hampton Inn and the Marriott Residence Inn. They are just a little futher south on I-35.

Otherwise I would try east on 114. Do a hotel search for Roanoke - that is just east.

There is a Marriott at Solana which is in Westlake, down the road on 114. Supposed to be a nice hotel.

And you can try the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. Looks pretty nice from what I have seen.

 

Gaylord Texan is nice, but much pricier than a smaller motel/hotel.

Stayed there with a lil' hottie once, for an IRL event. Very classy and the teams shared the elevator with us......only the driver's babes were finer than mine!

Those were the days.

Just a few minutes down the road to the track, and IIRC we had right of way over the pack on I35 and were waved right in. It was cold race day and she had to cover those fine legs......
