From its 530 hp, low curb weight of 3,179lbs, and 204 mph top speed, the 2008 Porsche GT2 is a supercar in every sense of the word.

    wow thats some numbers!!!

haha Oh! **** thats meesed up. haha....... actually when I was selling Porsches back in the 90's, one of the questions to be a certified P salesman was, (something like) The Porsche has used the same DOORs on the 911 for how many yrs? the answer was like over 18yrs

from 1976 to 1996 not sure, but something like that

Guess what, it works and it is timeless, we'll see if the same will be said about the Gallardo and Murci in 20 years :)

I bought one new, in 996 form, set up as a Clubsport. (Some here will remember the car). It was incredibly involving to drive, but the interior parts were cheesy for a 200k plus car. It also depreciated like a rock. It was pretty rare, though, and yet, you could park or drive it almost anywhere (except for the extremely low front spoiler lip- I used to carry a spare just because the thing would get chewed on so badly on curb cuts and driveway entrances). I think Porsches are terrific cars, I currently drive a 993 (in addition to the Lambo). Not sure I'd run right out and buy another GT2, but if they follow the pattern of the 996 version, they will be a bargain in a few years. (I'll take one in black, please).
