Coming home tonight after dark, only doing about 40, crested a hill to find a raccoon just standing in the middle of the road. Not enough time to brake sufficiently (I tried) and wasn't going to send the car off the road swerving to miss him, so I clocked him. Got home and, sure enough, a nice big round crack in the underside/front about the size of his head. Didn't even make it a month.

So, who in town could do a decent job restoring the front fiberglass?

Found another thread about bodywork up here and Berli's got a resounding recommendation. I'll swing by there tomorrow to see what they say.

I haven't experienced their fiberglass work but I can vouch they do excellent paint work and PDR.

Sorry to here this. It'll be fixed like new. If you have any rock chips, it'll be a good time for a bumper respray, you're their already.

Wanted to say thanks to everyone here for the advice on getting my front fiber repaired.
It was a long ordeal (due to finagling with the insurance company to get a replacement, which they ended up approving, but none were to be found in the US, so a full restoration was done instead).

Berli's did an *outstanding* job. The car looks better than when I bought it... well, the front bumper anyway. :p Makes me want to respray the entire car. ;)

The car also now has HE skid plates (which Berli's mounted gratis after building up the worn FG foundation properly for them). The tech won himself a 12-pack of his favorite beer for the great work.

I need some fiberglass work as well. Were they fairly reasonable? The finished product looks great.

Any info on their work would be greatly appreciated.
