85' 400i I was getting a little oil in my coolant and some watery muck in the oil filler cap. I changed the O rings under the oil filter plate and re-torqued the head bolts. Some of them were just about hand tight. I assumed that the water pump seals are OK because there is a weep hole in the bottom of the pump thats clean. Compression is great, all within a few PSI of each other and no two adjacent cylinders the same. I'm still mixing fluids!!! And in city traffic, it over heats!!! The overheating is probably due to loosing coolant. Before I rip the damn thing apart, is there anything else I should check?
