Problem is that the Scotch industry is not "funding" any "research" the way wine, coffee, and chocolate industries do.
I've long suspected that beer is no worse for you than soda. They have similar calorie contents, but one is loaded with sugar. The worst hangover I've ever gotten in my life was from drinking eight Dr. Peppers in a row, God, I thought I was going to die the next day.
