    Looking to get Novitec sport springs for my '22 Portofino M. Are the magnetorheological damping system (SCM) standard?

    If you have the Magneride option,it should be listed on the plaque on the underside of your trunk lid. With that option,you get adjustable collars for setting ride height. But ride height can also be changed with the base suspension,although not as easily. I have the base suspension with Novitec springs (made by Eibach), lowered about 1/2 inch,and I only wish that the springs were even stiffer.

    Awesome thanks. I couldn't tell and I don't believe they're on the plaque, I'll look again. Do you think 1/2 inch was a good height adjustment? Are you happy with it? The standard suspension set up on the Porto M seems so high.

    My wheel wells look filled out because my wheels and tires are 2" wider than stock. Some forum members have lowered 35-40 mm. It's a matter of taste and what is practical for where you drive. See if you can find my thread "Lowering a Portofino" from about two years ago.

    Going to lower a Portofino with magneride this week. Anything I should be on the lookout for--dash lights, ride height sensors going off, ECM's needing to be removed etc?

    I have never heard of such problems from using the adjustability of the optional suspension,but Ferraris and other cars get more complex every year. Remember to report your results to help other owners.
