a little while ago i was driving the lambo down the highway about 100mph. normal cruising speed. i always keep an eye in the rearview to see if anybody is gaining on me. I see this mini pickup with a giant freezer thing in the bed. It was like a camper. It was a fish and meat delivery guy. how he got that thing up over 100 to catch me i'll never know. another time i was driving down 95 and i passed a truck he must have had a really loud PA because all the sudden i heard "Nice Car". it was bizarre. The best was when i was driving my Fiat 500 at the beach. A carload of drunk girls pulls up next to me and the girl in the back shouts " i bet you have a huge cock to be driving a car like that!". I could go on and on. ain't it fun?

Tailgating, swerving in and out of lanes, traveling in blind spots, speeding to catch up is a daily occurrence and it really takes away from enjoying these cars.
I've been forced off of the highway, tailgated and threatened with a weapon (yeah, exactly, what the...), almost hit by cars going up the shoulder, witnessed several near misses in front and behind me b/c of drivers trying to take pictures, harassed by a pickup truck and a motorcycle working in concert, and the list goes on. All of this had to do with the car b/c I'm a nobody minding my business.

I usually work pretty hard to make sure these crazy people are blocked by other cars or blocked visually by a large truck. This does not involve speeding or dangerous driving at all - just proper timing. I almost always see them coming. I think the worst ones are the ones that creep up and sit in your blind spot or block you from changing lanes. Going faster once they've spotted you rarely works b/c it motivates them. Slowing down a little faster than normal actually does wonders. They usually get frustrated and give up.

I think it would be great if someone would make a set of videos of the stupid things people do and post it. I don't have the equipment for it but I'd probably get a large amount of material in a single day.

Really? Where do you live? Sounds like a bad movie to me. What kind of car do drive to cause such a commotion?

I get some of the good, but the bad happens too. There are ricers that deliberately block you and try to put you into someone, or cause a wreck as they think it is funny. It seems to happen in my big sedan more than the F-car inexplicably, and I've had it happen most often in a wealthy part of town by seemingly overindulged pukes.
I usually drive fast, but try to leave as little wake as possible. These clowns have damn near killed me with my daughter and son onboard. With the economy tanked, it may become more frequent, so watch yourselves.

Well, based on some of these last comments, this would be a reason why you would want to live in Kalifornia.

I have never experienced any of these things here in the Bay Area. Probably because there are so many exotics around here and people are used to them.

Wow I can't really see any of this happen anywhere in Cali. Even in the bad parts people are used to seeing the local drug dealers car that they aren't willing to do this type of stuff.

I don't drive a Ferrari, but I do drive an 08 F-250 Harley that gets the same attention. It's kinda weird but best thing to do is to keep your head. I'd be more worried of where to park, if you park in the wrong side of town: it's over. For instance about 4 months ago I parked my truck at a best buy down here in LA and while I was walking to the store and turn back to see my truck. There was a butt hole on top of it!!!!

Just be glad you don't have an Enzo, even in LA those will get you the creepy kind of attention.
