    Greetings,

Whilst checking if the knee bolsters could be removed to reveal a cleaner dash, I discovered a loose connector hanging about underneath the steering column. Image Unavailable, Please Login
it has only 2 ports active:
    blue with yellow line
    yellow with black line
Does anybody know what it's purpose might (have) be(en) ??

By the way: Whilst down there I found a reason for mediocre airflow of the AC/heater unit:

The convertible has NO REAR vents.... still the outlet for the hose to reach those vents in the Coupe version is in place.
Now in my case that tube was just open, heating or cooling the mechanics of the gas pedal...
Something Cabriolet owners might want to check.

the tube points forward, in the background above ^^^^^^^^^^ you can see the manually operated vent for the footwell (pointing downwards)

    Call's for Ducktape... ;)

Thanks for the post about the open vents on the cabriolets, my dash fence never put out anything, everything came out the center vent! I'll check and see if I can block those off and get some more airflow out the center vents, with Ron's vent wedge kit. Kit helping out a lot!
