Dan's overtaking is exceptional,...... clean, decisive and with no dramas
^^^ exactly. Poor Millard's gloating is misplaced. However, I can understand why someone who's usually wrong gets so excited when he gets one over on someone who's usually right. lol Maybe if Millard actually achieved something with his life he could gloat about that, instead of being a hanger on to someone else's achievements.
This year is the most interesting racing we've had in years and the young guys (DR, Bottas, Magnussen) are the reason.
A new venture for anyone who wants their kids to grow up like DR - Ricciardo Kart! Ricciardo launches kart brand - Speedcafe Side note - my wife worked for the sponsor on his kart and overalls in that old pic at the time it was taken - reckon that's good enough for hospitality passes in Singapore?
why ? they're the next best thing out there there is every chance they will do that unless Mercedes management have decided to back Hamilton
Williams is the next best thing out there, at least 15kmh faster on the straight. And isn't it just the best looking F1 car for a generation?
Great colour scheme , last time Ferrari looked good was after the WTC attack when they took off all sponsorship
From the F1 site......................... 4. Does Daniel Ricciardo have what it takes to spearhead Red Bulls title charge? His speed was never in question, but over the course of an outstanding 2014 season Daniel Ricciardo proved he also has the ability to consistently handle pressure and thrive in the heat of battle - traits that are often hallmarks of the sports greatest drivers. But does the Australian truly belong in such illustrious company - and is he ready to lead a Red Bull team determined to regain the drivers and constructors silverware? With a new team mate in the form of highly-rated youngster Daniil Kvyat, Ricciardo will need to deal with a whole new set of challenges in 2015. A revelation after stepping up from Toro Rosso to Red Bull, how he fares this time around could do much to prove whether the smiling assassin is also a world champion in waiting It will be a fascinating year
I saw a video yesterday of him in Melbourne doing some promo work for the GP (posted by RBR). I think it was Greg Rust interviewing him: Q "Sports fans the world over are talking about Daniel Ricciardo... how do you feel?" A "Uhhh... bit weird?" Great answer
Daniel Ricciardo: Speed Merchant | The Red Bulletin Poor fella, thinks he has a bit of time off over Christmas and some PR jerk makes him fly out to Italy to drive an Alfa T33 around the Targa Florio course. Tough job, but etc etc!
OK, 2016 has been run and won Daniel dragged the underpowered RB into 3rd place in the championship Max has made the most dramatic entry to F1 since Schuey Massa and Button have gone fishing The new kids on the block (except Max) haven't set anything on fire Predictions for DR from here? My innate bias precludes me from comment, but it would be interesting to have some opinions from others. Discuss
I'm no where near as biased as you but if the 2017 RB car is a winning car I predict the Eurotrash to bugger every race they can for Dan He needs to get over to Ferrari ASAP , he is the fastest driver out there, including the Wunderkind, or as he is known to me "Look out!!! Here comes Max" I like the kid but he is still unpredictable at times whereas Dan seems to be able to pass the field without drama, Max is all about drama which is why Hamilton was backing Nico into Max hoping for a desperate overtake resulting in a crash. Would you have done what Hamilton did ?
Very, very hypothetical question, but probably I guess it was better than trying to take Nico out in the first corner
