I just saw this story about this restaurant in Paris where the servers are all blind!

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20050707/od_nm/paris_blind_dc;_ylt=AkQ2V_gmc.UAtWzBnNMOtSUSH9EA;_ylu=X3oDMTBiMW04NW9mBHNlYwMlJVRPUCUl

By the sounds of it the place is pitch black and you have to rely on the server and guide for everything.

I don't know if I would be into going to a place like this, but would probably try it. I do think its a pretty unique idea and it benefits the blind which is good.

Would you go to a place like this for dinner where you cant even see the food on your plate?

I've been to enough fancy restaurants WITH sufficient lighting to realize one thing - the crunchy bits in your salad that you would swear are moving are definately going to be roaches if there aren't any lights!

Fantastic business idea. I watched a drag racer on Discovery (or Spike) a couple of nights ago who is blind. We'll have vision impared pilots soon.

Thank goodness the cooks aren't blind! I don't think I would like to pay $50 for two hours of darkness with something unknown under my fork, but I do have to say that it is a neat idea.
