HTV-2 launched successfully from VAFB, CA today at 4 pm PDT on a modified Minotaur IV. Started working on that one in 1994, X-37B two years later. Feel like I had twins this week. As usual, the open source data on these programs is widely misinformed, and sometimes comical.

It's really too bad there is no money in writing for conspiracy web sites because I think I could be really good at it.

They had no choice but to fly it to attempt and stop all the huge earthquakes happening world wide. The "earthquake weapon" flying on the space shuttle has been known about for years. Unfortunately it has been so overused that the energy from HAARP has destabilized the earth's crust which has led to the series of massive earthquakes that have been going on world wide. Space shuttle program is ending and this new mini shuttle is a stop gap to try and fix the earthquake problem before it destroys the earth in 2012.

Either that or it's packed full of the so called "rods from god" that will unleash destruction on the Iranian nuculear facilities.

In any case I'm reminded of the scene from Zoolander...... What is this? A space shuttle for ants? It will have to be at least three times bigger!

Supreme Commander Mugatu "Derek, it's just a..."

Space Cadet Zoolander "I don't want to hear your excuses! The shuttle has to be at least three times bigger...than this."

Supreme Commander Mugatu "Uh...He's absolutely right!"

Space Cadet Zoolander "Thank you...I have a vision."

I just read today that it's a weapon to prepare for the inevitable counter strike by the moon people. Really should have seen it coming after the unprovoked attack on the Moon and it's peace loving inhabitants in the guise of a "Lunar Probe". Obviously a show of strength to force them to sign away mining rights to their home planet.

Unprovoked Imperialist Attack on the Moon People

First launch of HTV-2 was a failure unfortunately. They lost contact with it some time after launch. There was a 2nd test scheduled to do different stuff, but they'll probably have to use it to accomplish the first mission now. Too bad...there is not much room for failure in today's defense industry.

Terry, what can you tell us about the HTV-2?
