    My additional garage is small, but my cars are home with me now:) It was a fun project and the outcome was worth it. The lift is a DanMar (7000lb capacity maximum 4 post lift) I currently have 97" to the underside of the garage door guides and 114" to the ceiling from floor to ceiling. It worked out great, no complaints. I do love the yellow and black floor (Select-Tech 24" x 24"), I give my wife credit for telling me to be different. As I mentioned the Carrera is being sold to make room for a 2001 360 or newer after I sell it and the 348 (Its official, the 348 is for sale) . I will advertise on FerrariAds.com and the official site on FerrariChat.com. PAPS, look forward to meeting you in September. I'm going flyfishing now:)

    What number is your 92' SS Mine is #8 of 100 (also a 92' SS with the same seats you have).

    Nice lift!!!! I have been considering one very similar to that.

    One question though.. I have speciale # 55 but mine does not have the 348ts badge on the back...?
    Did some come with it and others not??

    Mine doesn't have a badge on the back either. I think the SS's do not come with badges in the rear although I see one on Darryl's car (maybe it was added).

    why are the tire stops on the lift facing out ? shouldnt the ramps be on that side?

    1. The lift is a 4 post Danmar (7000 lb. max. capacity) lift.
    2. The vents on the sidewall are required for garage venting.
    3. The TB insignia on the rear of the car is aftermarket.
    4. Tehe seats are carbon and came with the SS cars.

    Glad you enjoyed the pictures. Look what I caught (9lb 24 inch Steelhead Trout).

    Do you have to run the front lic. plate on your Porsche ? Have you gotten caught for not having one ?

    Darryl, where did you purchase the lift? It looks like a pretty good deal from www.asedeals.com -- is that who you went with?

    Also, how high is the upper ramp surface from the floor when the lift is raised high enough to get the 348 underneath? I'm trying to figure out if I have enough vertical height.

    Nicely done- I am actually doing the same project in my garage. I noticed you positioned the lift directly on the tiles. I was considering setting my posts directly on the concrete and cutting my flooring to go around the post pads. Have you had any issues with that? I like the looks of your setup way better. I suppose it really sdepends on the density of the flooring material.

    Installed it directly to the concrete floor. I cut the tiles around the lift baseplates.
