    There are a bunch of threads on here, but what is, in 2025, your go-to dash cam? Too many scammers trying to force a rear-end collision in the metro area.

    I've done a small amount of looking into this and decided that you may as well just get an action camera and mount it. I'll be using an Insta360 One RS when my new Roma Spider arrives. Frankly, the video quality on dash cams are absolutely awful. At least these action cams have 4k. Most dash cams are the same - look at the chip inside them and you can trace the manufacturer. If you do that, you'll realise they're all the same but just have different housing to make them look a little different. Of course, there are a few exceptions though and I'm not talking about literally 100% of them on the market.
