    Hi,

I'd like to bypass the dimmer for the dash lights. I've unplugged the harness from the control and there are three wires. One is black, and two (closer together) are white and yellow (or green).

How can I wire these so the dash lights are on. If they end up staying on all the time I can wire a little switch in.

    Thanks

The white (B-bianco) wire is hot when the lights are on. The black (N-nero) wire is ground. The yellow (G-giallo) wire runs to the instrument lights. The "dimmer" is a 4.5 ohm trim resistor -- not much of a dimmer. You could try jumping the white and yellow wires to see if the instrument lights are any brighter, but you probably won't gain a whole lot over just turning the dimmer all the way up.

With the connector off, the light inside the dimmer won't come on, of course.
