Hi guys The leather on my 456M shrunk. They tried stretching but said the foam under just disintegtated and it would not be possible to stretch. I got quoted $1950 to redo whole dash. Does this seem like a fair price. Any other options. Thanks

Yes sounds cheap- I did my 456M & it cost me 3g's You can't believe how much work it takes just to get the dash out of the car- The leather is almost the easy part
Honestly sounds too cheap I would ask for some references Remember what your parents said You get what you pay for I paid 3,400 for my 550 dash removed, redone and reinstalled and that was cheap Since labor is very different all over country, our quote is for Bay Area San Francisco Have them put new leather on at that point FWIW
I've been told a day to get the dash out; another day to get it back in. That price seems fair. And my dash leather is beginning to shrink. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Thanks for the responses. It is being handled by Ferrari Quebec. I have seen others and job is well done. I will pull the trigger Thanks again for feedback
If Ferrari Quebec are doing it, it should be a proper job. You say that they've tried stretching it already? Does this mean they've already got the dash out and the $1950 is to replace the leather rather than the whole job? If it's a two-day job as people on here have said, and that's the total cost, then their hourly rate must be very cheap?
1950$??? At that price I will call Roger at FoQ also and get mine done. Is that 1950$ cdn or US$? Seems like a great deal and they're a great dealership so forge ahead!!!
Doubt you can even get the leather work done for that much. Plus add in 15-20 hours to R&R the dash, a huge pain.
That sounds like an amazing price. The hide to do the dash is probably close to 500.00. And that's if you can find the color without a custom dye. I have been looking for 4307 Blu for my car with no success...
