H all ferrari fans. Lastweek I took delivery of my black ferrari (2002)360 modena, which I purcased in Miami and shipped it to my country; Chile.
The dashboard lights did work , mut suddenly turned off, and now only the arrows light up, I tried every thing with the 2 small buttons , on the left in order to raise the intensity, however in the panel next to the intensity there appears a cross ( could this indicate that it is turned off, or has a malfunction ? All the fuses are ok. Please help as in the dark I cant see the speed and te other controls.

There are threads on this issue, try search function and you should find help. It seems it is a relatively common problem and not that easy or cheap to repair.

A very similar problem happened with both my 456M and 575M. Turned out to be a simple connector that was loose that was connected to the dimmer switch, underneath the dash.

Joachim- If you are not up to doing it yourself, here is the group who can fix it for you. ~$500 for a repair and it will be checked to ensure it works. They repaired a 575 SA instrument panel for me.

Make sure you try that connector first.

I'm curious what is involved installing the new circuit board? Can you lay under the dash, spot the bad critter and make the replacemtent or must many things be removed first just to get to it?

Paul- you need to pull the instrument panel. The strip lighting panel looks like this, so you can see it is not something you are going to slide into the assembly.

Search in the 360 forum for "yellow tachometer" and there are photos and instructions on how to remove the panel.
