I had a decent sun shade/cover for the dash that I used when I left the car vacant with the roof out.It blocked the sun well but it has gone astray.Does any of the Brotherhood have a decent source for a replacement.Local parts stores have some cheesy crap. Thanks -John

Try the Targa Top Cover http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=100004&products_id=284254 , or the Berlinetta Shade http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=100004&products_id=284251 . Both were developed by fellow Fchatter Hank Sound.

Here's a link for great sun shields.

The windshield model is fabricated from Mylar-covered board which folds neatly up to store in a bag. It very good quality and is held in place by the rear view mirror. I ordered one for my car a it completely blocks the sun from reaching the dash through the windshield.

They also have models which cover the dash. One is a suede "mousehair" like fabric similar to the 246 Dino dash covering.

The Berlinetta shade is the go!! Get yourself one mate!! ;);)

I use mine ALL the time. The sun here is very intense and the Berlinetta shade keeps out a lot of heat as it protects the dash and interior. :):)

I also have tinted windows which helps too. :):)

Lol! Would they steal it to put on their 348 you reckon?? ;);)

I have honestly never thought that someone would steal mine off my 348 when I put it on. :):)

When I do park the car up town, its usually only for a short period of time so I dont fit the shade. I also dont leave the car out of my sight. When the car is out the front of my place, I fit the shade and forget about it. :D:D

Exactly how big is Mt. Isa? I kind figured you could hit a golf ball from one end to the other --- using nothing more than a sand wedge !

    Lol!! :D:D

Well, there is around 22,000 people that live here. :D:D

It takes around 10 mins to drive from one side of town to the other. :D:D

Mount Isa is geographically the "largest City" in the world. Mount Isa covers 41,000 square kilometres so it is the largest City in the world apparently. :p:p

    Yes Sir!! :D:D

Swiss Company Xstrata own the Mine now. They bought it in 2006. :):)

Its a very BIG show down there. :D:D

Here are some pics of underground for those interested. :):)

My sincere compliments on your inventions. I did even know they existed. I would have ordered you type of sun shield if I had known.

Hey PAP, would that be 10 minutes for the average driver, or 10 minutes in your F-CAR making it 30 minutes for everyone else :) :)
