As the title says, Is there any data (factory or otherwise) on the numbers of cars painted in various colors? I have tried to search and have not found an answer. I recently purchased a white (bianco) 328GTS and was curious how many were painted white versus other colors with obviously the majority being red! Thanks!

@JFR To my best knowledge no one know the number of cars built on each color but you can help if you disclose the number of your Bianco GTS :)
The most commonly "accepted" source is the "Ferrari V8" Keith Bluemel book. There would have been 77% of all 328 Rosso Corsa and 11% in Nero paint.

You beat me to it, though i was going to say Red, Red, Red, Red, Red, Red, Red, Black, and left over was everything else.

I suspect there are less Rosso Corsa cars now than as built, % wise, due to color change.

    Nerofer,

Thanks for the link. When I searched, that did not show up and it was also before I joined the chat. Interesting numbers!

I come from the C2 Corvette world and it is also interesting to note that some colors are known to the exact number of cars and others are not just as we are seeing here.

    Regards,
