Last Thursday evening the A/C in my '91 TR started blowing hot air. After a bit of research on this forum I received a quick education in 'TR White Connectors 101'. Sure enough the fuse box was my problem and I was faced with the option of patch fixing the issue and risking further damage to what was a panel in good condition or having my box upgraded by SRI. Late that evening I sent an email to Dave Helms and just a few hours later on Friday morning I received a reply from Dave who, as many of you know, is about as polite, helpful and professional as a person can be. I removed my board and dropped it off at the FedEx shop at 3pm on Friday. Yesterday morning my box was waiting for me when I walked into my office (that's right, Dave turned around my board from door to door in 10 business hours!!). After following the clear instructions provided my TR is up and running with all systems functional (including the dome light and door open buzzer which never worked before).

I know that Dave, his family and his work are well known on this forum but I just wanted to share my outstanding experience with him and the great results of his fuse box kit, which I highly recommend. I look forward to working with Dave again when I send him my TR later year for the engine out belt change and gold connector kit install. Many thanks to all the great members on this forum for sharing your experiences and pointing me towards a permanent solution for this problem.

    Happy driving!

Thanks Robbie. I was hoping for "are you bi-polar???" or another one of your now-famous posts.

Dave is a national treasure. Jen and Kris keep him dusted off and moving in the right direction. Working with that group is so fun it almost makes me want to go break my car.

If he wasn't half way across the continent I would have the TR there in a heart beat.
Always a pleasure to do business with.
