The BBC report has the following: "Thai police told the BBC the 72-year-old was found naked by a hotel maid in a wardrobe with a cord around his neck and other parts of his body."

    source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/8083479.stm

How does one go about getting into a wardrobe after hanging?
I could be wrong, but I'm guessing I already know what "other parts of his body" were attached to the cord.

A 'wardrobe' is british for a closet.

He was found hanging in a closet with a rope tied to his neck and , from what Im hearing, his genitals. I wouldnt be surprised if there was someone else in the room with him when it happened and they freaked and left.

Carradine was known to be a very kinky man.

I thought "wardrobe" referred to a large free-standing piece of furniture designed to be used as a closet, in both the U.K. and the U.S.A.; what is often times called an "armoire". Also, none of the articles I have seen mention that he was found hanging, but that it appeared he had been hanged. Not trying to nit-pick, but just believe the difference is significant.

I think your assumption is kinda iffy....

"Most insurance policies do not pay in cases of suicide. If a second autopsy can determine that David Carradine died due to auto-erotic asphyxiation and ruled an accident, then the voided policy issue will not matter. Also, many life insurance policies pay double when death is determined to be accidental."

There certainly seems to be an incentive to prove it accidental though.

I think my life insurance policy only voids for suicide during the 1st two years. After that, it pays either way.
I guess they figure a person can't wait two years if they're suicidal.

BTW, some great pics of David Carradine in this yahoo news slideshow:

One of my favorite real-life quotes from David Carradine:

"I don't need to convince anybody that I know kung fu,
but maybe somebody needs to know that I really can act,
without doing a Chinese accent or a funny walk."

    Gonna miss him.

I met Carrdine back in the early 80's. He had serious issues back then, I'm surprised he lasted this long.
