Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and am the proud new owner of Daytona 12801. This car spent all its life in France. It was part of the bardinon collection in the 70,s at mas du clos. I have 2 early pictures at mas du clos and then recent ones. Does anyone out there have any pictures of this car in their archives? Thank you for any help. Attached is a current pic. Hi Clay congrats, you are going to have a lot of fun with that one, i have 12883 built in Early sept of 1969 i am in the Richmond area where are you? Chuck Coli tell us a little about your car, it appears to have some speed modification..
I'm very close to you near Fredericksburg. My Daytona has group 4 mods that were done in period by Charles pozzi in France. It has comp differential, Weber stacks, break ducts for all wheels, roll bar, sway bars, 9in wheels on rear, modified nose. The car is well preserved and maintained sympathetically restored. All mechanicals including engine and gearbox rebuilt with paint done last year. All original interior except comp seat belts. Very interesting ownership history in France. Hopefully we can meet sometime.
Clay, Nice car, mine also was modified way back in the early 80's. I kept the mods. I really like my car...a lot of fun. Bill
