    So sad for everyone including the lenders who won't get their money back.
    I think most life insurance policies may have a clause that prevents payment in the case of suicide. Just tragic all round.

    I agree. I have some sympathy for the poor, literally poor, kids. A life of luxury, European vacations, private schools, lobster thermidore etc. Now Maccas at best. And what can the wife do? What skills does she have to support herself and the kids? Still there are worse off people in the world who deserve more sympathy than her.
