Best of luck today. I will be watching. Are you running the whole series? I am at Watkins Glen every year. Hope to see you there.
Great crowd here yesterday & even bigger today, This event is now rivaling Sebring & Petit in crowds in the modern era. What a great event. Thanks for the grest pictures
Any comments on spares? Do you come with a set of full body panels? A spare gearbox? etc. How many wheels do you come with?
Spares are never as many as you would like. When you race a Porsche they send a store on wheels with enough parts to buy the parts to build many cars over. With Ferrari you need to buy your parts in advance. We have about 10 sets of wheels, a spare engine, some front and rear parts and lots and lots of duct tape.
Here are some pre-race shots. It was last minute but we got our name on the car for the start. There are many more photos and updates on the AIM Autosport Facebook page. Of course this post will be lost on those readers who just skim for photos.
At the race now, appreciate the photos and updates. The 458 is the quietest car here. What does FXDD mean?
FXDD is the teams title sponsor and is a foreign exchange firm. The cars are quiet because Michelotto has us run mufflers. I think that soon that will be scrapped but it is up to the rule makers to allow it first

A bit sad that Porsche Race Customer support vs Ferrari Race customer support. Congrats on a Great Effort. You looked wonderful racing and got a lot of coverage!
Well the car finished 8th without a single mechanical problem. Quite good for an all new car. Just finishing a 24 hr endurance race is a great accomplishment. Its great to see how reliable the Ferraris were. I think this 69 car will have a great year once its on the road courses instead of the super speedways. Good luck to our home town favorite, Jeff Segal!

The plan is for this to change. Hopefully soon. The intent is for FNA/Michelotto to be sending a spares trailer to the races. CW
