I have a Hirshman in my C4, which is of course 1972 (I had it out for rebuild - it needed new weed eater line). Based on wiring and condition, I have some confidence it is original. I can pull the panel and take a look if you think what I have is applicable to your question.

Correct for a Daytona would be a Voxson antenna. Incredibly difficult to find which is why they are normally replaced for Hirshman or Autovox units.

Autovox SA 86 was the best and most used electric antenna in Italy....the Voxson models, like their car radios (autoradios) to a some extent, did not sell a lot as they costed too much and did not show the top performance of Autovox and other italian car radio brands.
If an italian antenna was not necessary...the japanese ones were very good.
It can be easily bought still today.
