It was a one owner car from new. i spoke to the son of the owner who sold it for the estate a couple of months ago. it was in the fml for 425k,the mileage is accurate, and that is what symbolic sipposedly paid plus for the car. i assume that symbolic is the seller. it also has never been touched. it's tough to find that level of originality - a little like the garrison spider that broke all records - a time warp car!

€340,000-€408,000, so the reserve is probably €374,000

my guess is that it will sell around $500-525. which would still represent a recovery high. my car reputedly sold for 1mm in 1989, with 2,900 miles on it from the original owner, so we still have a way to go to get back to peak market prices for coupes, though spiders seem to be there now and higher.
