    Inside the brake MC reservoir cap there appears to be a hard rubber insert that allows the cap to screw into the reservoir bottle. How do you get this out without destroying it? Is it an adapter that would allow the cap to be used in other applications (like on another make of vehicle?) Can that adapter be purchased anywhere? pix enclosed. thanx steve

    The rubber is a press fit, and you can remove it easily by hand with light pressure.

    Thanx Gary, I assume you press on the outside of the cap, where it says "ATE". YES? thanx steve

    @Edward 96GTS I would if i could find one. I found an AR cap,but it needs the insert and it doesn't say "ATE". thanx steve
