    Should there be an inspection cover on the bottom the the clutch housing, as I appear to have lost mine.

    Also if so, whats the part number and are they still available?

    Yes, it seems quite common that these are missing. I guess they either fall off or lazy mechanics forget to put them back after checking the ignition or cam timing.

    I very much doubt if you'll be able to buy the part new, but it is easy to make one out of 16 guage aluminium or stainless steel sheet. Use a piece of cardboard to make a template then cut from metal, drill 4 holes and its done.
