    My shop has just refinished my five 7.5/15 Cromadora wheels for my Daytona. I would like to find new metal valve stems-the hole in the wheels is .625” (15.875 mm).
    Any idea where I can source these. Thanks

    Finally got a chance to open a few boxes, and found that the "TR-416-S" looks to be right:

    I have no way of knowing how original that stem might be (wheel has a 71 date code on it), but for what it is worth Bridgeport is an Italian maker of such things, so it seems unlikely that this was sourced from NAPA...

    Outside looks like this (apologies for it being all dirty; it is "silver" under all that);

    The exposed smooth barrel is a little different from the Veteran stems, but there are several brands that have smooth exposed sections (though none seem to have the very square shoulder of the above).

    Thanks Alex,
    That tire valve is original.
    I modified a TR-416 from Advance Auto-it appears very much like the original and is 1.25” in length.
    I added an M10 black nylon washer and replaced the convex washer with an M10 stainless flat washer.
    Should work well

    why replace the convex washer?
    will a nylon washer flex or crack?

    Good question
    I think the original used a flat washer. I also wanted to put even pressure on the nylon washer

    I installed my tire valves on my Cromadoras earlier today. The M10 had nylon washer fit the outer side of the wheel perfectly. I did use the slightly convex metal washer that came with the TR 416 metal valve stem. This also fit perfectly.
