I agree..fix the car (if possiable safely) and drive it. If the car is beyond repair for safe use on the highways then part it out a repaire the others that need parts. This entire thing about "preserving a peice of history" goes a bit to far when talkng about a normal prodction vehical which in essence was an interm car anyway until the 365bb made it's debut. Now if it was a rare race car or a one off car that was owned buy the founder of the company or whatever..then yes it's a peice of important Ferrari history, and should be restored. This car could go either way really..it would be more econmicsl to part it out of course..but if you have the bucks and the time fix it and drive it. But it will always be a "stary car" and NEVER be worth it full value. And in the Ferrari world that seems to be the only thing that matters.
Well, guess what - this car has been completely reborn: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=154166 And there were naysayers who said it could never be repaired/restored....leave it to the plucky British to show us Yanks that nothing is a 'lost cause'....
