I purchased some NOS front lenses for my Daytona.
This appears to be a more complicated job than I anticipated.
Anyone have experience with this task
    Thanks

Yes Laurence, it is kind of complicated but as anything Daytona, time and patience, and finesse...

The screws are headless from the outside, you have to get to the nuts inside, and out they come.
New ones? shop around, all over the place pricewise, Genuine? More $$$.

    Best of luck!
    Regards, Alberto

I had a well known 911 RS restorer look at it
There is one fastener on each side that seems impossible to access from the front compartment. The headlight assemblies make it very challenging. The headlights are beautifully set in the nose and I wouldn’t want to disrupt that. Any tricks?

They are original and are in decent condition but I would love to put my NOS lenses on this car

I had a renowned 911 RS restorer look it over
He felt that the headlight assemblies needed to be removed to access one of the screws. Too risky!
