Hello all you lovely Fchatters, I have recently completed a special project for a customer and he's requested I share it here. This project comprises of a surplus Daytona seat from my customers parts collection, along with some Koni shocks, leaf springs and a few finishing touches. After the frame and rocker were fabricated, we trimmed the seat in Connolly Vaumol leather and re used his original Daytona seat strips. This was then assembled with a hand crafted aluminum surround, number plate, Daytona tailpipes and the all important bottle opener. Hope you enjoy this for what it is and this thread doesn't de rail into a debate on the use of an original Daytona seat ect. wow, beautiful workmanship. For me though, I would have you install a venting connection in the seat bottom to the pipes for removal of exhaust gases after extended use of that bottle opener.
