Just wondered if anyone could recommed a reference book on the Daytona.
I'm mainly interested in the early plexiglass models.

    Thanks

You'll probably find everyone recommends the Roush and Braden book, Daytona.

It's been out of print for ages and seems to retail around 270USD used, which is rather a lot :) The search continues...

Is there anything specific you want to know? I've done a lot of digging recently and might be able to give some pointers (PM me if you prefer).

    Nice Dino BTW.

    Thanks guys.

Surprised that there is such a limited choice for what is a really great car.

The Roush and Braden book seems to cover everything though.

It's really surprising how many excellent and important books on Ferrari are out of print. That just ain't right.

Besides the Roush/Braden book (which is a must have for Daytona fans), there's Doug Nye's Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona book, and Nathan Beehl's Ferrari Daytona Super Profile. I believe these two books are out of print, but can be found on ebay or elsewhere. The FML online bookstore occasionally carries these. By the way, Mr Beehl is a member of Fchat.

Don't forget Keith Bluemel's Ferrari V12 book. The Brooklands series of books have period magazine reviews of Ferrari's, including the Daytona.

If you have specific questions, Lance Hill and Bill Badurski are real pros. You can reach them in the Forum at http://daytonaregistry.com/. Hope this helps.
