Those are beautiful photographs! I love the use of natural lighting throughout... The interior shot is especially cool, IMO. This restoration looks to be terrific! I must admit that I'm more of a fan of the "before" seat than the new one, but once it gets some wrinkles in it from wear, it'll have that "old car patina" look that a seat should. (just my 2c.)

    Beautiful!

    Thanks for sharing!!!

Amazing pictures, big thanks for posting them. But I agree with Perfusion concerning the seat. The new one just doesn't look 'right'. I think a car with such a history and heritage should have as much original parts as possible, that very seat looks worn, but in the same way decent, vintage... if it was my car, I'd keep it. (unfortunately, it isn't :p)

The problem with Daytona seats isn't really the leather, but the padding. Once that goes, the seats don't feel right and the worn padding crumbles and blows around the passenger compartment when you drive. It's very difficult to take apart the seat, use the correct new padding and re-stitch the old leather so that it looks decent. Sometimes this is possible, most times it is not. As a multi-Daytona owner, with both original and restored cars, I've been there, done that. I can say that it doesn't take too long to have your new seats get that wrinkled, used look.

Daytonas do look good in black. Even if it is hard to keep looking nice.

Wrong steering wheel for the car though.
