    Yes. I am interested in the car. I was told that it was in a museum in Japan for awhile. I have had it inspected and it has the usual deferred maintenance issues but seems like a good car.

    I just thought I would check with the group to see if anyone knew anything else about it.

    I am sure you did your homework and made the right choice. Refresh the car and ENJOY. For other readers' sake, this Daytona was one of the collections among the estate of Matsuda Collections who owned a Ferrari Museum in Gotemba, Japan (couple of hours from Tokyo). Happy driving Joe.     I saw the car a few weeks ago at the showroom. Looks like a decent car, driver level paint, interior is decent. Car is not concours cosmetically, but it is presentable. Would be a nice car to have if you plan on driving it.

    Defered maintenance costs will probably be painful (as they always are for a car of this vintage), but at least you know that going in and can factor that in.
