    Try a suction cup on the mirror first, it may be possible to pull the mirror out without breaking it.

    Are these the same as the Dino rear view mirror? I seem to recall them being called Daytona/Dino mirrors. If so, there are replacements on just about all the Dino parts sites.

    Dinoparts.de, superformace, etc.

    thanx for all of the advice. more later, but suspect the Dino mirror, which looks just like both of mine (the broken one and the one from GTCP). argghhh. steve

    Easy to break the mirror out and get a new piece cut from a glazier

    Problem solved without complete destruction of anything, but my ego. The adjustment "ball and socket" underneath the stem needed more adjustment and then tightening. Back in action now, awaiting the next malfunction. thanx for all of the advice....another great learning experience. steve
