I saw that. Thought it was cheap except that it is being sold by someone other than the owner (which is always suspect...ie, dont come to me with your problems, I told you I was just listing it for someone else). The mileage seemed suspect as well. Again, Daytonas are $225-$350 now. Heck, Sheehan has a Lusso he is asking $500K. It makes Daytonas look really, really cheap at $300K.

Mileage suspect.... the driver can disconnect the odometer from the drivers seat in 30 seconds in a Daytona, yea I would call all "low mileage" claims very suspect.

This particular Daytona sure seemed to be all that the term "A Driver" would mean and yet brought strong money!

latest cavallino has daytonas at $200k to $400k , lusso $300k to $500k. i just insured my daytona for $425k with hagerty my agent ( whom i know very well as he worked on the restoration of my car a few years ago) says they use cavallino for their values and find them 'dead on ' for vintage ferrari pricing. i would say the ebay daytona was a 'fair buy' asuming no suprises and sheehan may be a little in front of the market on his lusso ( i saw the pictures and it is a very nice car thought not a fresh restoration) but 6 months from now it probably would have looked like a good buy..
