... and I just can’t watch these types of videos with annoying add-on “sound track” music. If the subject is interesting and filming is adequately done, natural background sounds, especially in driving/running footage, should be enough, but even those aren’t necessary. Same with narration, especially if/when performed by some lame MyTub “personality” walking around with a selfie schtick
I recently purchased (in an auction, for my collection) this 8 x 10 promotional still photo showing 14365 in one of the scenes from the movie "The Swiss Conspiracy" that it was featured in back in 1976. You can also see the other Daytona Spyder (also used in the film) in the background. I have never seen this particular image before. It's signed by the main star of the movie David Janssen. The movie is not a good one, but I did enjoy seeing this Daytona appear many times throughout! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Super shot! Thanks Marshall. Swiss René Herzog provided 14365 for the movie "The Swiss Conspiracy", he was the fifth owner of this Daytona Spider. Herzog kept it until late 1978. The other Daytona Spider used in the same movie was chassis #15911. Plates are fake. Marcel Massini
I always enjoy that film, much nicer than current Hollywood garbage and how can you not love TWO Daytona Spyders chasing each other in the Alps. https://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_181811-Ferrari-365-GTS-4-14365-1971.html https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073774/?ref_=ttmi_ov

I don't have a lot of information, only an old photo of this car that my wife's grandfather, Luke Fratello owned. The photo is of the silver color. It had been sold before I got to see it. The story pans out as I heard that there were only 3 of these produced. According to what I heard was that one was totaled, the owner of a second one, the owner welded the roof on (please be false) and Luke had the third. After Enzo passed away and the Japanese stock market grew exponentially, Luke sold it and later purchased another 365 Hardtop, but this had the plexiglass headlight covers. After Luke passed away, we lost all connection to these cars but I'd love to fill in the history of these two gems. I had reached out to someone that had a database of Ferrari owners and found the second vehicle and confirmed Luke's ownership, but it was so long ago, I lost track of the S/N. I'll try to locate the photo of the original 365.
I remember Luke and his Daytona. One story is that he had it at yhe FOC Virginia City Hillclimb. He got an award for nearly identical times with the second time going through the finish line backwards after a spin.
