Yes, I have a full article on this in "Prancing Horse" from the mid 70's. In fact it is featured on the cover.

I don't mind the overall design, but the interior is, well, let's just say something to be desired.

Owned by a friend of mine in Paris for many years amongst his large collection of Ferrari & Aston Shooting Brakes.....Now sold as of 3 years ago. It was very badly constructed...still is.... and handled like a pig. As of last year the car was in the UK but owned by an English collector in HK....... Embarrasing is the word that comes to mind.....

    Paul,

The Vignale shooting brake, next to the Daytona, is more pleasing to my eyes than the Daytona wagon. Although I am not a huge fan of either. In fact, many years ago I met one of the owners sons of the Vignale car in Burlingame, CA. His name was Scott Taub. I had, wish I still did, several photos of the Vignale car. At one time it had a 'bull dog' mascot on the hood. I could not believe; but it was actually afixed to the hood. I want to say that the photos I had were from around 1970 to maybe 1974. They were fantastic period photos.

Oh how I agree with you. I love the Vignale car and had the opportunity to buy it when the Paris collection was broken up. Sadly didn't have the funds available. Its now been totally restored and is owned in the UK by Jay Kay of Jamiroquai fame. Lucky chap.

I don't know whether I love or hate this Daytona. As a Ferrari enthusiast, it has no appeal to me. But, as a custom car, I like it in the same way I like the Batmobile.
