How interested might the community be in a re-manufactured steering column switch unit for both the Dino and the Daytona? A friend who owns a manufacturing facility (plastic and electrical) has capacity to take on additional projects. I suggested that these column switch units are impossible to find and often in great need.

If manufactured identical to original equipment, with high quality (modern) plastics, would you be interested? There are 10 pieces of plastic in each unit (we counted). This requires 10 molds. Cost will be siginificant to build the first one.

Is the world wide community able to purchase 100? 500?

    What are you thoughts?

Sorry - this question is likely in the wrong section. I have re-presented it in the vintage section.

the possibility of re-manufacturing the switch plate is wonderful, but with less then 500 of the 365 GT/4 ever produced, this is not a money maker. There are a lot of people available to repair these switch plates, so all I have is not good news. The 400/412 has a different part.
