    Hi

yep it is on here now https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/ferrari/daytona.html

Originally i think these cars just fitted 215/70VR15 tyres all round but lots of cars fitted the extra large 9" rear wheel.

I beleive in period some of these cars fitted the same set uip as the Lamborghini Muira SV https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/lamborghini/miura.html using the extra large Cinturato CN12 255/60WR15 tyre that we have recently had made by Pirelli. the price is pretty good as well

I've not heard of Daytonas with 9" rims at the rear used the SV Pirelli tyres. I thought they just used the 225/70 VR15 Michelin XWX. I don't think road Daytonas had 9" rims on the back as a Ferrari option either. People just put the 9" 512BB rear rims on them. I may be wrong.

I don't recall seeing 365 GTB/4 s fitted with CN12 tires. Aston Martin used them on the Vantage IIRC.

    Hi

    https://www.borrani.com/ferrari-wheels/365-gtb-4-daytona.html RW4300 was a 9" Daytona option.

Of the millions of Borrani's we sell for Daytona's most will fit the 9" rear RW 4300

Of the tyres we sell for Daytona's the majority opt to fit 225/70VR15 Michelin XWX on the rear.

However i would point out that this is not at our recommendation. I would think they would be more fun to drive with the same tyres front and rear. However not everyone likes the same cars as me, often people do want to make their cars er towards under-steer, or shall we say diminish over-steer. and to be fair - i don't own as many Dayton's as i'd like to.

One of the big attractions to fitting the taller 225/70VR15 on the rear would be the slightly longer gearing, (maybe 3%)

i have been told that historically some people liked to run the big CN12 in period, I'm pretty sure it was somewhere on Ferrarichat. and i can see why in that a 255/60VR15 tyre is actually more suited to a 9" rim than a 225. the 255/60 CN12 diameter is closer to that of a 215/70VR15 XWX, while being about an inch and a half fatter. And so many people are hell bent on fitting fatter tyres.

I suppose in also in 1971, this tyre would have been hot stuff. I think it is the first 60% profile road tyre!
