DB9 2009 New Colors - Tempest Blue / Amethyst Red?

    Looking at a possible DB9 '09 facelifted model. Understand that Aston Martin is offering two new colors as part of the facelift: Tempest Blue and Amethyst Red. Both look stunning in the color swatches I've seen live. Tempest Blue has less metallic in it, but is still a lovely light blue shade. Amethyst "Red" seems like it has tinges of a royal purple. Its a more metallic and brighter cousin of Berwick Bronze.

    I was hoping to find some on-line pictures to see how they look on the overall car, but have unable one of either.

    Would you guys have access to any pics or any thoughts on the above colors.

    I saw a stunning DB9 in Glasgow the other day, stood out over any other i had seen in a real deep and rich metallic red

    Matthew, you may be thinking of Toro Red. Amethyst Red is an extremely dark metallic. From a distance it almost looks like black. See attached for Toro Red pic.
