Hi, is there a material difference between the DB9 engine character (low redline, torque-y, slow to rev) and a 2017 V12 Vantage S with a dogleg manual 7speed? I know there is a material power difference.

I know that the V12VS had VVTI and a different ECU versus the original 2011 V12V with the 6sp. But, like most large displacement engines, I am wondering if the V12VS drives in a typically torque-y jet-like manner versus light, fast-revving motors like a 911 GT3 engine. As an aside, somehow the Ferrari V12s seem more like the GT3 motor. I’m assuming that’s due to different engine internals for higher revving motors.

Thanks in advance for any perspectives.
