    Salt everywhere except downtown.

Rock Creek Pkway and Beach Drive area all covered in salt. Can't believe it's almost April and our driving season hasn't really started yet.

Even in southern maryland salt every where. They never needed to salt this week...only rain. Who would have thought with April right around the corner the roads would still be messed up. At least I was able to get out a few times this winter.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Weather is beautiful...Claritin is pumping through my veins and still piles of salt on the roads.

Where is the rain? Oh please...

I've been using my surplus CAM2 as after shave in the meantime.

    Please...please...make it rain.

Roads are much, much better everywhere.

There is still a little salt left that will hopefully wash away this week.

Now, we have a heat wave??

    Nutty...

Not sure if 495 in MD was salted but there isn't anything left as of now.

Southern Montgomery County and DC all are clear also.

Most of the roads in Loudoun County VA were salted yesterday.

Should be all washed off by the end of this rain storm.

Now they use that brine solution which works pretty well (but will still ruin the underside of your exotic).
The problem with the brine is that they put it down a whole day before the snow day.
It ruins the last good clear & sunny day before the storm for taking your sports car out.

495 in Montgomery County was lightly treated earlier in the week but is almost all clear...including shoulders.

Southern MoCo roads are clear as is most of DC except for some really hilly streets like Cleveland Ave NW between Calvert and 34th. That section is heavily treated.

Rock Creek Pkwy is totally clear as are most of the areas near the mall.

495 in VA looks to have been heavily treated with lots of salt remaining everywhere near the GW Pkwy and 193 interchanges. GW south from 495 to DCA is patchy and still wet this morning.

I would say that it would be very difficult to get to Katie's using 495 and 193 North without driving through salt.

The Donut could still be possible...more on that later.

I've been out of the country this week. How are the roads looking? Need to get over to Competizione later this week. Did salt get put out?

usually they don't for less than 2 inches. I hadn't seen any trucks drive by and lay salt, but can't say for sure.

We got the deicing crap everywhere this last time. I picked up my new-to-me Cayenne TTS from DJ Mayo that day, looked like a brand spanking new 2006 when he rolled it out of the garage. It's in the driveway after the 50min ride home covered in white crap. Ugh.

I believe some Baltimore area counties received some salt for ice treatment.

DC area seems to be pretty clear though.

This weekend's rain should take care of it!
