Need someone to haul my 348 from the eastern shore over the bridge.

I used to use Matt at Whitehorse but I guess he’s out of business.

I also got the name TJ at Chesapeake Custom Carriers but his truck is kaput.

    Any other leads?

How far is the car traveling (miles)? I know it’s a personal preference, but if it’s a simple day trip w/o inclement weather there’s little need to pay a premium of an enclosed hauler as a flatbed will safely get it from point to point.

Transporters give you the scare pitch of how essential an enclosed hauler is for safety, but privately joke about how they chump owners into paying a premium by preying on excessive worries related to protecting their pride and joy. As a matter of fact - a flatbed ride on the back of a flatbed 6’ off the ground is far safer from rock chips and debris than any weekend ground level brisk road drive in and around town or on the open interstate that we owners enjoy.

Oh, I understand and I have hauled many cars on AAA flatbeds My issue is the car isn’t running and I’m not keen to have it winched onto a flatbed. I’d prefer to push it on a trailer.

I won't use an enclosed that doesn't have side panels that pop out. Better off using a flatbed.

Another option I have heard good things about but not used yet is Low Pro Towing. He’s got enclosed and open transport purpose built for lower vehicles. The entire bed of his tow truck goes right on the ground for example. https://instagram.com/lowprotowingllc?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
