"As I said in other interviews, for me, Fernando was the best driver in 2008 even though the car was not up to the task," the Scot - who retired at the end of last season - told AS. "He continued working and eventually achieved two wins at the end of the season." Speaking at the Zaragoza Motor Show Festival, Coulthard also took a moment to reflect on his own career. Asked about the highlight of his time in F1, the 37-year-old responded, "For me the most important thing was to win twice in Monaco, a circuit that does not allow mistakes."
