Ah, Grasshopper, you have much to learn. If you push at Pietro, he will push back. It is only the patient tifosi who will reap the ultimate reward. In other words, CHILL. Gimme a couple of days, I'll see what I can do for you. Dave
Noah, Sometimes you are an ass hole. Have you met Pietro? He is a fine gentleman, he is from Italy, home of Ferrari. He has a real job and does what he does for the FCA because he loves Ferraris. He also fund raises for several charities, and has a family, too. So it should not surprise anyone here that he's not always at our beck and call. He puts his heart and soul into the FCA and Ferraris in general, and does not deserve some smart ass kid deciding that he is full of himself. All I can say is POT, MEET KETTLE. DM
So if I have a business, which provides a service to people. And I have someone who calls me. I do not get back to them so they contact me again. I am supposed to get back to him even later because they wanted to get an answer?
Robby, I emailed Phil last week and got a prompt reply. My question to him, though, was about score sheets and not the awards; he was still compiling and finalizing the results for publication and thought he would have the sheets sent out to those who requested them in the next week or so.
Phil should be available to each and every award winner for a breakdown via the scoresheets of what was deducted. In fact I would venture to say that it's Phil that you should be bugging not Pietro. Pietro would make sure you got the award due you if you were not present to receive it at the dinner. Both are good guys! Try and remember that both VOLUNTEER their time before busting their balls.
wtf !robbie take a chill pill, youll get your award so you can rub it all over yourself with baby oil soon enough! now go out and write up some jaywalking tickets to pass the time..
Yes, in a nutshell he told me don't call him--email if I need something...So that is what I did..I understand people are busy--I have 4 boys, baseball games, work, etc..But I can always take 2 minutes to return a call or email in a 2 week period...
Who knows, maybe---I have emailed him and Pietro numerous times. Certainly doesn't look good to me that this event has been going on for 23 years and neither head hunchos can return an email after 3 weeks.. I would think after running an event for that many years---any possible problem or niche would be nipped in the bud ASAP. To me 3 weeks and no return call or email is a PROBLEM. I even offered to send money to have the award shipped---no response from anyone. Wouldn't be so bad, but I did pay my $75.00 like everyone else....I won't make the same mistake next year for sure... Maybe the next detail job I do, I will have the client pay up front and then ignore them for 3 weeks--helluva way to operate things--I wouldn't be in business very long...
Ok---Does anyone have a way to contact either one of these people?? Phil or Pietro?? My emails don't seem to work in PA..
Received email from Phil stating my results sheet--the only one out of ALL cars---was lost somehow. He will continue to figure things out...
Phil asked how I registered for the event. I told him a sent a check about a month before the event like you were supposed to do. He said that was the screw up because I registered correctly...I guess next year I will sneak in....
That would be Phil's twisted sense of humor. He's not being serious. Two years ago they lost ALL the scores, on the day of the event. Left them in the back room and one of the event staff cleaned them up. No one got sheets that year. I've offered to help Phil be more organized on this next year, and I think he'll take me up on it, soo... next year maybe just as me. Dave M.
Well.... just keep telling everyone you won a Platinum.... sooner or later it'll become true..... just like that 12 foot long big mouth bass you caught over by three mile island that one year..
I don't think your supposed to get a copy of the actual score sheet anyway..I just want my pretty little award...
