    The 2008 DC Fiats Pizza Meeting will be held Sunday, January 13th at Joe's Pizza Place in Arlington, VA. We'll be arriving and chatting in the parking lot starting around 3:30 and will then head into the restaurant to enjoy an Italian pizza feast at 4:00. Rosario has assured us that the restaurant will be ours, and ours alone (except for Joe's staff of course). Instead of the standard $7.99 buffet with mediocre pasta selection, the staff at Joe's will be delivering pizzas directly to our tables as needed at a DC Fiats special price of $6.99 per person. That cost will still include a soft drink and access to the soup/salad bar. Separate checks will be made available to each table in the restaurant making it easier to calculate costs for members opting to consume alcoholic beverages. A 15% gratuity and tax will be added to each bill. The likelihood of a 'Skins game being held at the same time is negligible.

    Please send Walter Webmaster a reply if you can attend our annual Pizza Meeting so that he can coordinate the attendance with Joe's Manager Rosario. In the past this has been the best opportunity for those of us who have our cars in hibernation to attend a DC Fiats event--although past meetings have hosted an impressive number of Fiats, Lancias and Alfas in the parking lot. Again, I strongly recommend you join this fun Sunday which starts off the 2008 Fiat activities season in the Capital area!

    if it is not wet out I'll show up with my 328- anyone else up for it? I like Fiats, especially the Dino and Bertone, but don't know that I would go out of my way for pizza unless there is something more interesting to my son than what that place with the big talking rat has to offer.

    My Lancia is stored for winter. May come w/ a neighbor in his Fiat Dino coupe. Was nice to be moving in and hearing a Ferrari V6 idleing in the parking garage.

    i always love when i see people bring their kids to hooters. i don't get the concept. unless you live in chuck county and your kids look like this.

    Hey those are my kids! I really did see a little boy of about 8 having his birthday party at the Hooters in Potomac Mills once. The girls put him in a chair in the center of the room to sing happy birthday. I thought he was going to get a lap dance too. Yes, delightfully tacky reached a whole new level.

    So Wetpet, who's that in the 328 in the pic in your profile? Bring her along in that outfit and I'm there!

    i'm in. i think ld. i'm still working on another. might be raining, but luigi doesn't mind. He's not one of those lusso's like wch has. speaking of wch, he should come with one of his many fiats.

    I saw the two 911's there, nice. I'm really glad I went, Joes has excellent pizza and the owners are some of the nicest people on earth and Italian car enthusiasts. Plus there were some nice cars that you just don't get to see out and about often enough.
